The basket coils provide a beautiful shape and pattern for a traditional hearth loaf look. This round brotform is made from unprocessed rattan cane and is 100% natural. Cane baskets also absorb a small amount of moisture during proofing so that the outside of the dough is less sticky. This very thin, slightly drier layer ensures that you can also cut the dough a bit easier (‘scoring’) and that the bread can open nicely during baking. 2 sizes to choose from: 10” sourdough proofing bowl will hold 2 lbs or about a 1kg of dough.
